The most distinctive feature of this chair is its armrests. Each armrest is a solid walnut-toned block with a triangular cutout through the centre — a frame rather than a solid panel, with the negative space of the triangle as visible as the wood around it. The two triangular armrests sit on either side of the backrest, connecting the rear legs to the front of the seat frame and giving the chair a strong geometric identity from the front and the side.

The backrest is low and wide — a shallow arc of cream teddy bouclé that spans the full width of the chair and curves gently upward at the centre. The height of the backrest is lower than most dining chairs, sitting at mid-back rather than shoulder height, which gives the chair an open, unobstructed silhouette from across the room. The seat is upholstered in the same cream teddy bouclé, square-cornered and generously padded.

The four legs splay outward — the front legs angle forward and outward, the rear legs angle backward and outward — so that the footprint of the chair is wider at the floor than at the seat. The legs taper from a wider section at the top to a narrow point at the floor. The splay gives the chair a stable, grounded stance without adding visual weight.
