The pedestal is widest at the base — approximately 40–45cm in diameter at the floor — and tapers upward to a narrower diameter at the top where it meets the underside of the stone. The taper is not a precise geometric cone but an organic curve: the profile bows slightly inward as it rises, like a weathered stone column or the base of a large tree trunk. The surface texture is not smooth but has a natural, slightly irregular grain — the kind of texture that reads as hand-formed rather than machine-made. The finish is deep walnut-toned matte throughout.
