The silhouette of this bookcase is an S-wave — a continuous curve that sweeps left at the top, right in the middle, and left again at the base, ending in a pointed leaf-tip at the upper right corner. Unlike an open bookshelf, this piece is fully enclosed: both the curved outer wall and a flat inner back panel close each of the four compartments on all sides. The shelves are straight and horizontal, spanning the full width of each compartment at their respective heights.

The result is a bookcase that reads as sculpture from across the room and as a practical storage unit up close. The S-wave outer wall gives each compartment a different depth — the middle compartments are deeper where the curve bows outward, the top and bottom compartments are shallower where the curve pulls back in.
