The frame is solid walnut-toned wood. The four legs splay outward at a slight angle, tapering from a wider section at the top to a narrower point at the floor. The front legs are connected by a single horizontal stretcher. The rear legs rise and curve into the armrest frame, which extends forward to support the front of the armrest pad.
