Every other chair in this collection has wood armrests. This one does not. The armrests here are cylindrical rolls of cream boucle — soft, rounded, fully upholstered tubes that sit on top of the frame and end in a smooth curve. There is no wood to rest your arm against, only fabric. It is a small decision that makes the chair feel entirely different to sit in.
The base is a pair of wide walnut-toned wood rockers — full arcs that sit flat on the floor and allow the chair to move with a smooth, controlled motion. The backrest is a generous rounded form, cloud-like in profile, and the seat cushion is wide and deep. Everything is upholstered in cream boucle with a fine, even loop that photographs well in natural light and feels warm to the touch.
