The frame of this bookshelf is a single continuous band of solid walnut-toned wood, approximately 8–10cm thick, bent into the form of the numeral nine: a complete circle at the top, a flowing S-curve descending from the circle to a closed arc at the base. There is no central column, no frame, no support structure other than the band itself. The form is self-supporting.

Inside the circle, two shelves span the diameter on slim metal rods. At the midpoint of the S-curve, a round disc shelf cantilevers from the inner face of the band. At the base, a single shelf sits inside the lower arc. Four display zones in total, each at a different height, each a different shape.

The second image shows the piece from the front and from the side. The side view makes the thickness of the wood band visible — this is not a thin bent panel but a substantial piece of solid wood, shaped into a curve that holds its form under load. The grain runs continuously through every bend.

The first image shows the bookshelf in a UAE-style living room beside a cream sectional sofa, in afternoon light. The plants, books, and stoneware vases on the shelves are kept simple — the form does not need help to be noticed.
