The backrest of this chair is two horizontal cylinders, one above the other. Each cylinder is a round-section upholstered tube in cream teddy bouclé, rounded at both ends, sitting across the back frame. The upper tube is slightly narrower than the lower. Between the two tubes, a clean horizontal seam separates them — two distinct forms, side by side, that together read as a single backrest. The bouclé fabric is dense and tightly looped, with a surface that catches light across its texture and reads as three-dimensional even from a distance.

The seat is a full circle — not a rounded rectangle, not a square with softened corners, but a complete disc of cream teddy bouclé, generously thick and set into the frame. The circular seat is the only one of its kind in the Bay Furniture dining chair collection.

The frame is solid walnut-toned wood with a square cross-section, approximately 6 × 6cm — substantially thicker than most dining chair frames. The four legs are completely vertical, with no splay and no taper, rising straight from the floor to the underside of the circular seat. The rear legs extend upward past the seat to support the double-tube backrest, connected by two horizontal crossbars that form a ladder structure behind the seat. The joint between the leg and the seat frame is a smooth curved transition — the wood bends rather than meets at a sharp angle.
