The frame of this display shelf is a near-complete arc of solid walnut-toned wood — approximately 270 degrees of circle, open on the right side, sitting on a thick rectangular base with traditional moulded feet. Inside the arc, five shelves are suspended on pairs of slim round walnut columns. The shelves do not touch the back of the arc. They float inside it, each one at a different height, each one a different length because the arc is wider at the centre than at the top and bottom.

At the base of the arc, a curved tray-form shelf follows the inner line of the lower crescent, creating a display surface that echoes the arc itself. The columns that support the upper shelves are consistent in diameter and finish throughout — a detail that gives the piece its structural clarity despite the complexity of the form.
