This is a two-piece nesting set with a material combination found nowhere else in the Bay Furniture collection: the large table has a natural travertine top, and the small table has a solid walnut top. Both tops share the same organic cloud form — an irregular outline with two large convex arcs and one concave arc, like an asymmetric cloud or a shape smoothed by water into something that has no straight edges and no equal curves. The two outlines echo each other at different scales, and when the tables are placed together, the concave arc of the large top and the convex arc of the small top face each other across a narrow gap.

The large tabletop is natural travertine in warm ivory and sand tones, with the open pore structure and horizontal flow lines of genuine stone. The surface is matte. The edge profile has a smooth rounded chamfer. The small tabletop is solid walnut-toned wood in the same deep warm brown as the cylinder legs, with a smooth matte finish and visible wood grain across the surface.

The base of each table is three solid walnut-toned cylinder legs, approximately 10–12cm in diameter, arranged beneath the organic outline of each top. The legs are consistent in diameter from the floor to the underside of the top, with a smooth curved transition at the joint. The three legs are positioned to support the irregular outline of each top without any leg extending beyond the perimeter.

The cloud-form outline and the two-material combination suit warm, organic interiors where no two surfaces are the same. The travertine large top and the walnut small top create a natural material gradient from stone to wood across the two pieces. Style the large table with a glass carafe and a dark ceramic tray; style the small table with a small plant in a ceramic pot and a stack of books. The set works on cream wool rugs, jute rugs, and light timber floors equally. In a room with a cream modular sofa and warm neutral walls, the two tables read as a composed organic pair.
